This is the story of a man in his later years who finds himself a very long way from home and hearth when the SHTF. It’s a tale of the drive to get home come hell or high water. I’m writing it about the way I myself would get home after an event. I can only hope I would do as well in real life.I have the will and the drive and know how but maybe the ol body is low on fuel. Time will tell.

Hard times are coming and most people can't or won't see it , but a few in rural East Texas do see it and have the ability to build for the survival of themselves and the future of not just their area but in the the entire Nation.
